Jerry Garcia’s Daughter on Hand for the Opening of Garcia’s at The Cap

Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre has named its new bar space after Jerry Garcia. Garcia’s—which is connected to the theater and will be open during shows—will function as its own bar space when the main theater is dark. The bar will also host local and regional bands, adding a second stage to the noted performance space. Garcia’s daughter Trixie announced Garcia’s at the venue last night evening along with venue owner (and Relix publisher Peter Shapiro).
