Last night in Chicago, the incredible Hamilton musical premiered, marking its first venture outside of the friendly confines of Broadway where it became a global sensation. 

Among those in the audience included Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy, who posed for a photo with Hamilton mastermind Lin-Manuel Miranda before the show. Miranda also tweeted out a copy of their photo together complete with a verse from Wilco’s Yankee Hotel Foxtrot deep cut “Reservations.” It would appear that along with being a huge Weird Al fan, Miranda is also quite the Wilco buff. 

Hamilton will run at the PrivateBank Theatre in Chicago to go along with its usual spot on Broadway in New York.
