We’ve heard a whole lot of nothing from the members of Guns N’ Roses since their rather unexpected reunion that began at Coachella and ended up spanning a Not in This Lifetime Tour that will now stretch into South America beginning in late October. 

But finally, an interview with Axl Rose and Duff McKagan has surfaced as the two discussed the reunion with Brazil’s Fantastico Globo, a country they will play six shows in this November. 

Among the topics discussed, of course the reconciling between Rose and Slash. The frontman admitted that he did not have the guitarist’s phone number initially, but eventually connected for dinner at Rose’s house in the fall of 2015, ultimately leading to a truce between the two. Rose also dished on the exclusion of Steven Adler and Izzy Stradlin, saying that Adler’s recent back surgery prevented him from participating and “with Izzy, you never know what to expect.” Adding, “We make arrangements and then he goes and does other things.
