Gov’t Mule Play Guest-Filled Set in New Orleans (A Gallery)

If you were a musician in New Orleans last night, odds are you were on stage with Gov’t Mule at some point. Hayned and Co. brought out a ridiculous number of musicians to play with them–the unofficial count per the band’s Twitter ending at 36–during their two-set show at the Saenger Theatre. From George Porter Jr. and Kreutzmann to Trombone Shorty and The Dickinson Brothers, Mule covered the spectrum with the young, old, the upcoming and the legends.
