Gov’t Mule Kicks Off Island Exodus 6 (A Gallery)

Gov’t Mule and their fans descended on Negril, Jamaica for the sixth annual Island Exodus getaway. Throughout the show, the band was joined by a series of guests including guitarists Sonny Landreth, Ron Holloway, Anders Osborne and The Better-Half Singers. Landreth sat in for a series of tune towards the end of the first set including an extensive “Mule” that featured takes on “Who Do You Love?” and “I’ve Been Working.” Osborne sat in on “Cortez the Killer” in set two and The Better-Half Singers joined in on the finale of “With a Little Help From My Friends” as an homage to Joe Cocker.
