Funky Meters Welcome Brandon Niederauer at Brooklyn Bowl (A Gallery)

August 11, 2014

Funky Meters took to the stage at Brooklyn Bowl last week for a thrilling show that saw the New Orleans establishment deliver their brand of jazz and funk to the Brooklyn audience. The band surprised fans when young phenom Brandon Niederauer took the stage to take a turn on the guitar with the group. Dino Perrucci shared some images from the show.

Comments

Brandon is an amazing young talent. At 11 years old has shared the stage with so many great players including Warren Haynes, Greg Allman, Devon Allman, Lettuce, Leftover Salmon with Billy Payne from Little Feat and Robert Randolf just to name a few as the list is way too long. Keep your eyes and ears open. If you haven’t seen this fine young man yet your in for a treat. A style like Hendrix, Stevie Ray and yes playing the Blues with his own established style. Play on little buddy, Sly
