ESPN’s Bob Wischusen Talks Phish During Syracuse Basketball Game
During last night’s Syracuse basketball game against Notre Dame, longtime Phish fan and ESPN broadcaster Bob Wischusen took some time to explain his attire, as the arena was celebrating legendary coach Jim Boeheim with a “Dress Like Boeheim” night. In the early days, Coach Boeheim was known for his obnoxiously plaid jackets straight out of your great grandfather’s closet, and yesterday the students and those at the game paid homage to the coach who will retire in March of 2018.
Wischusen’s jacket of choice that evening was one he joked he once wore to a Phish show at Madison Square Garden, as you’ll see in the video below.

After the game, he shared a picture of his get up that evening, saying that he was told to “bring an old cheesy Boeheim jacket.” He later went on to say that he believes it was worn to the 12/31/95 show at MSG. For more pictures from Boeheim night, click here.
