Dave Matthews Visits Cuba, Performs and Talks Country Relations

April 20, 2016

Dave Matthews is currently visiting Cuba as a part of the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities along with other musicians and celebrities including Usher and Smokey Robinson. The DMB frontman took some time to perform, as actor Kal Penn captured this quick video of “Crash Into Me.”

“I hope it’s good for both of us,” Matthews said of the improving relationship between U.S. and Cuba. “I think that there’s a lot that the world can get from this country.” Matthews went on to say that one of the things that struck him about his visit was how safe and welcome he was throughout.
