Watch Arcade Fire Play _Reflektor_ Material in Scotland

Rob Slater on November 16, 2013

Arcade Fire (also known as “The Reflektors”) continued their run through Europe performing random, small-club shows in support of their latest release Reflektor. Playing last night in Scotland at Glasgow’s Barrowland, the group moved through a set that relied heavily on Reflektor material. Here are videos of the title track as well as the wildly popular disco-rock tune “Afterlife.” The last video features one of the few older tunes played, “Wake Up” from Arcade Fire’s debut album Funeral.

Earlier this week, the band also announced tour dates for 2014, with suggestive gaps in the touring schedule–particularly around the weekends of Coachella and Lollapalooza. Arcade Fire is also locked in for Lollapalooza Chile, Argentina and Brazil, effectively ruling them out of a potential headlining spot at Bonnaroo. Regardless, enjoy the first good look at the future of Arcade Fire as they usher in the anthemic, disco-rock era of their careers. One that will surely land them on some colossal stages. “The Reflektors” will perform in Paris and Blackpool, ENG on November 22 and 27, respectively, before returning stateside.
