Allman Brothers Pay Tribute to Bill Graham and Jack Bruce at the Beacon (A Gallery)

October 27, 2014

The Allman Brothers Band took some time during their fourth show at the Beacon Theatre to pay homage to a pair of legends in the rock and roll world. Warren Haynes started by dedicating “Into the Mystic” to the late Bill Graham, who died on October 25, 1991, remarking that the Van Morrison tune was among his favorites. The band also paid tribute to Cream bassist Jack Bruce, who passed away at the age of 71, with a cover of “Politician” in the middle of “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.” Dino Perrucci shared some images from the show.
