Album Premiere: Hamish Anderson _Trouble_

October 19, 2016

Hamish Anderson will release Trouble, his debut album this Friday, October 21. The Melbourne-raised, LA-based artist came to the United States in 2014 because “the blues and rock is what I connect with, and it’s all from here.” He was the last artist to open for B.B King (one of Anderson’s idols) and continues to build a swelling audience through his gripping, dynamic live show.

Jim Scott (Tom Petty, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Wilco, Grace Potter) produced Trouble in his Los Angeles studio. There, Anderson was backed by Steve Berlin (Los Lobos) on baritone sax; drummers Freddy Bokkenheuser (Ryan Adams), Aaron Sterling (John Mayer), and Johnny Radelat (Gary Clark Jr.); bassists Chris Bruce (Doyle Bramhall II, Meshell Ndegeocello) and Rob Calder (Angus & Julia Stone); and Chris Joyner (Ryan Bingham, Heart) and Jason Borger aka Jerry Borgé (Jonathan Wilson) on keys.

Today we offer the premiere stream of Trouble, which is now available for pre-order.
