Greetings! Just dropping a line to say many thanks for including the review of MAN's
newest CD as part of Mick Skidmore's Indie Daze. It's rare to see anything on this
wonderful band in the press, and considering that they were once at the top of the pile (Bill Graham was very impressed with the shows at Winterland!) it's a shame so little is heard of them these days.

The mag is quite impressive. I just have one concern: I hope Relix doesn't
go the way of Rolling Stone and other magazines that have sold out to sexy
images to generate some revenue. It would be a shame if Relix could not exist on its own laurels. Here's looking forward to a long subscription. |

I can't believe ekoostik hookah has never been on a cover--what gives? Do you
think the Midwest scene is lame or something? The Shantee is another great band around here that you should hear if you haven't. hookah has one of the kindest scenes out there, not to mention some of
the most hearty, fan-based songs I've ever heard. They blow the doors off moe. and Widespread and are constantly growing musically. They won't sell out to a label and they are family-oriented. THEY DEFINITELY ARE SOLD SHORT AT RELIX AND DESERVE A COVER! That fall hookahville three-paragraph column was weak and non-descriptive of the true light at hookah shows. Thanx for that insult as well. Anyway, I still like the mag and you guys are great for what you're doing for the music and the fans! Just had to vent 'cause I'm HOOOKED!
