Sometime in the late ‘90s, a shoe company—Simple—became a familiar entity among Phish fans, thanks solely (pun intended) to a Phish song of the same name. Simple’s logo was often misappropriated to denote the song, artificially fueling the notion that the company itself was somehow “heady.” The inclination proved correct and, a decade or so later, Simple has launched an ecologically-friendly line of footwear called “Green Toe.”
