Wingless Angels "Oh What a Joy"

Track # Title Artist Album Duration
1 Oh What a Joy Wingless Angels September/October Sampler 04:10
04:10

Playlist Description:

As Keith Richards describes this project, Wingless Angels make “marrow music.” As old as time itself, this is the Nyabinghi style—calling on the drum and voice to make music that cuts right to the bone, stripping away all but the essence, the raw and righteous spirits of the common people. I think somebody who runs a music radio shluod know more about the persian music than this. Just listening to the music, before the vocal parts reveals that the dominant instrument is an electronic synthesizer. At Delkash’s time, there was no such instrument. Delkash might have sung this song, but this is definitely not her voice. It is not even a good rendition of the song. This is a singer who is trying to imitate Delkash’s style of singing. I have heard this song many years ago and I think the singer’s name is “Fayezeh” or something like that.
