The Shook Twins are currently in the midst of a national tour, which finds Laurie and Katelyn Shook in New York City on Tuesday for a show at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 and Thursday at Brooklyn’s Glasslands. Today we premiere their new video for “Awhile,” which appears on their latest album, What We Do. “Shooting this video was mesmerizing,” Laurie Shook explains. “Watching our amazing friends Meleah Ennis and Kevin Van Meter dance so beautifully to our words high above the home court city of Portland was very fulfilling! Chapin Hemingway did a great job directing. It was a laughy grand time. It’s a bit uncomfy watching yourself sing play and dance on a computer screen. But I think it worked out real nice.”
