Video: Emma Stone Sings Blues Traveler’s “Hook”

Jimmy Fallon hosted another lip sync battle last night, this time the opponent was the lovely Emma Stone. The goal, for those unfamiliar, is pretty simple–each person selects a song and then proceeds to lip sync it, much to the crowd’s delight. Fallon led off with Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” before Stone took the stage for Blues Traveler’s popular song about songwriting, “Hook.” For comparison, Stone is 25 and “Hook” debuted in 1994, when the actress was six. She delivered a spirited performance that can only be properly assessed through GIFs.

And Jimmy could NOT believe it because after all, we know he has some harmonica chops of his own.

The band caught wind of it and took to Twitter to declare Stone to be the winner. I think they’re biased though, because Fallon’s “Mr. Roboto” brought the house down.
