The Floozies’ new EP, Granola Jones, will be released on February 12 via GRiZ’s All Good Records. Granola Jones, which is now available for pre-order,  captures The Floozies’ winning electro-funk, an animated sound built for both the live and studio settings. The Floozies, which consists of the brothers Hill,  Matt (producer, guitarist) and Mark (drummer),  will begin a two month national tour on February 10 at the Canopy Club in Urbana, IL.

Today we premiere “Wild Card” from Granola Jones. The Floozies’ Matt Hill tells Relix, “I started Wild Card in a mini van driving to Colorado. We had a show at the Boulder Theater and we wanted to bring our own gear instead of using backline. I went out of my sound design comfort zone and wound up with some new synths and a call and response guitar solo with a horn section that I’m really excited about. We’re always looking for new directions to explore in as funky of a way as possible, and wild card is a result of that kind of pursuit. “
