The next studio album from Relix favorites Orgone is set for release on April 28 via Shanachie Entertainment. Beyond The Sun is the group’s first to feature vocalist Adryon de León and showcases the band’s compelling palette of funk, soul and space disco. Today we premiere “Sweet Feet,” a bonus track recording during the Beyond The Sun sessions. The group tells Relix, “We intended the song to have an inhibition-canceling effect. There’s always an unspoken party element to our music and those hip to it understand to their core. “Sweet Feet” speaks to those who may have wallflower tendencies, encouraging them to own the freakiness bred in every one of us and enjoy the spotlight for a little while. Sometimes it takes a nudge to let go and get on the dance floor… and sometimes it takes a big ‘ol push… a love shove, if you will. And we’re well versed in those.” Orgone will gig steadily in support of the record, with the current itinerary listed below.
