Five For Friday: Musician/Celebrity Lookalikes

by Rob Slater on February 28, 2014

Today's Five For Friday comes in the form of some of the best lookalikes in the entertainment world. Some will scare you, some will make you laugh, and some will make you demand a DNA test. Obviously, this is all inspired by the very public spat between two doppelgängers on this list. Of course, I'm referring to Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and his fellow celebrity lookalike, Will Ferrell. We are all anxiously awaiting the drum battle, guys.

Anyway, kick off this beautiful Friday with five awesomely terrifying celebrity and musician lookalikes.

Craig Kilborn and Josh Homme

You cannot tell me these two don't have a common relative somewhere down the line. The Queens of the Stone Age frontman and failed talk show host Craig Kilborn are forever identical, and serve as the quintessential celebrity/musician lookalike example.

Chad Smith and Will Ferrell

No lookalike association is taken as seriously as this one, with both hurling serious impersonation claims at the other. Regardless, Chad Smith and Will Ferrell have the most contentious doppelgänger relationship out there, culminating in Smith challenging Ferrell to a drum battle after the actor claimed to be the REAL Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer during his Reddit AMA. Like a good sport, Ferrell accepted the challenge and a drum battle will be held for charity, and facial bragging rights, probably.

Johnny Depp, John Mayer and Jack White

We get it. Cool guy, long hair, ever-changing facial hair. We gotcha.

The Dude and Eddie Vedder

As if Eddie Vedder isn't cool enough already, he gets to look forward to turning into Jeff Bridges in 20 years! And yes, Bridges is also a musician, but most don't know that. In fact, in 2009's Crazy Heart, Bridges contributed extensively to the soundtrack and even performed live in the movie. Bridges took home an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture for his role of Otis Blake, a character loosely based off country star Kris Kristofferson.

Miley Cyrus and Phish

Like looking in a mirror. Happy Friday!
