Dr. Dog Deals With Fate & Rolls With The Punches. Literally.
Dr. Dog announced today on their Myspace page , that they would be rescheduling two New York shows this week for late August, due to bassist/singer Tables being on the recieving end of a throat punch and his voice still being a bit sore. However, the band seems optimistic as Fate hit stores today:
"A Dr Dog show without Toby singing is not a Dr Dog show...Fate came out today and while we wish we were able to celebrate we're
still really excited for people to hear it. We can't wait to start
playing this stuff live...just have to wait a few more days I guess," the band said in a bulletin sent out on Myspace.
So while you're waiting a few days you can either pick up a copy of Fate (including vinyl), or stream it for free on their Myspace player for the next four days. If that's not enough, you can head over to Weallbelong.net or click the bird to listen to unreleased Dr. Dog tracks complete with a karaoke sing-a-long, so as Dr. Dog instructs "Gertrude Too See Nalong!" Do yourself a favor and listen to Fate.
