Starting things off were The ‘Mericans, a guitar based, mellow rock sextet. With three acoustic, one electric, one bass guitar and a mandolin the gentlemen of The ‘Mericans lulled the somewhat anxious crowd into a folk induced dazed. Albeit the crowd was slightly lethargic throughout the band’s set, the intricate guitar couplings of the band’s last song “Off the Trail” were enough to get the fans excited for the bands ahead.

After the lullabies from The ‘Mericans the crowd was appreciative of the lift from Loren Tell. With duel male female vocals Loren Tell gave a little bit of variety to the predominately male infused night. The band kept fans dancing with their drum beats, but the slightly superficial vocals and guitars had fans hoping for more.

The Bee’s Knees were the overwhelming fan favorite of the night. Best described as Americana-inspired pop/rock, the Bee’s Knees gave fans a kick in the butt with their combination of The Byrds and The Kinks rhythmic execution, and harmonies that could be compared with Wilco. They were the perfect dose of upbeat guitar riffs and down-to-earth lyrics. The Bee’s Knees gave the only performance of the night that didn’t leave fans wanting more.

Ending the night on an extremely loud note were the headliners, Motel Motel. The New York-based band waltzed onstage and immediately revved up the crowd. Combining country and rock ''n roll, Motel Motel embodies what music on the road is like. Although they were loud enough to blow the speakers out of any car, the band gave the crowd a performance that made every person there dance.
