1. Dr. Dog, “The World May Never Know”: My friend gave me this CD a year ago and I fell in love with it: For some reason, summer feels like the perfect season for it.
2. Regina Spektor, “Summer in the City”: This song captures the feeling of what it’s like to be in Manhattan during the summer.
3. Paul Simon, “Father and Daughter”: I found this CD in my mom’s car and this song struck a chord with me.
4. Nada Surf, “Always Love”: Probably my favorite pop song of the past year and possibly the best song Nada Surf has ever written.
5. Thom Yorke, “Atoms for Peace”: A good song on a good CD.
6. Stephen Malkmus, “Church on Black”: I loved this Malkmus solo album and for some reason I always go back to this song.
7. Dangerdoom, “Basketcase”: This CD came as such a surprise to me.
8. Ray LaMontagne, “Jolene”: I love Ray LaMontagne and I love this song.
9. Rose Hill Drive, “Cool Cody”: One of the best bands on the planet.
10. John Vanderslice, “Letter to the East Coast”: He always amazes me, this is
definitely my favorite song on his newest release.
