The reclusive Tom Waits has lined up a series of spring and summer shows. Waits, who tours infrequently, will open his run with a two-night run at Phoenix, AZ’s Orpheum on June 17 and 18. From there the singer will make stops in El Paso (6/20), Houston (6/22),  Dallas, TX (6/23), Tulsa, OK (6/25), St Louis (6/26), Columbus, OH (6/28), Knoxville, TN (6/29), Jacksonville (7/1), Mobile (7/2), Birmingham, AL (7/2) and Atlanta (7/4). He last performed live on January 22 at a Los Angeles benefit for Bet Tzedek Legal Services. Waits, an indie-rock cult hero, is also the subject of a recent Scarlett Johansson's covers record.
