A tantalizing new music festival is scheduled for Vineland, New Jersey in early August. The Vineland Music Festival will draw together U.K. promoter Festival Republic which is responsible for the Reading, Leeds and Glastonbury fests along with Texas-based C3 Presents which currently produces Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.

While the festival had been negotiating with Philadelphia officials, they were not able to iron out all the details. Instead the Vineland Music Festival will take place on a private farm about 45 minutes outside the city. Camping will be available at the event, which will occur from August 8-10. Little else is known about the festival, although the promoters have set a target attendance of 80,000.
