The Police reunited for a version of their hit song "Roxanne" to open the 49th annual Grammy Awards last night. Bassist Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland reunited for the Police's 30th anniversary and will embark on an international tour this summer. The group is expected to play 80 shows through December, touching down in North and South America, Europe, and Asia, during a multi-part tour.

The group's first tour in 23 years will open at Vancouver's GM Arena May 28 and hit most major markets across the United States. The group will also headline Bonnaroo June 16. After wrapping up their North American tour in August, the Police will likely hit Europe before looping back for another round of stateside fall arena dates. Tickets for the high-profile tour will range from over $200 to $50.

The Police split in 1984 and have only made a handful of live appearances in the past two decides. The trio reunited in 1986 for a handful of shows and performed at Sting's wedding in 1992. The band also anchored a star-studded group jam during their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony.
