Back in 1999 film director Michelle Esrick began documenting the life of Wavy Gravy. The ensuing film, Saint Misbehavin': The Life & Time of Wavy Gravy, is close to completion. In an effort to raise funds to finish post-production work, Wavy Gravy himself will be on the auction block.
An eBay auction is currently underway with proceeds set to enable Esrick to finish the film. Items include an E. Landy Album Cover and photo signed by Bob Dylan, Graham Nash's signed handwritten lyrics to "Teach Your Children" and Odetta's signed handwritten lyrics to "Keep on Movin' It On." Still the psychedelic crown jewel of the auction is the "Woodstock party" that Wavy Gravy will host for the winner. "For the winning bidder, it's a night made in hippy heaven. Wavy will come to your party, Woodstock DVD in hand, as host and master of ceremonies. He'll tell stories about Woodstock and his other legendary encounters, sing a song, read poetry, sign autographs, and bless the space in a way only Wavy Gravy can." The Saint Misbehavin' eBay auction will continue through December 3.
