Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have confirmed a handful of fall
dates in support of Raising Sand. The
strange bedfellows have spent much of the summer on the road together,
including an appearance at Bonnaroo. Plant and Krauss’ new fall dates include
stops at Kansas City, MO’s
Starlight Theatre (9/23), St. Louis,
MO’s Fox Theatre (9/24),
Houston’s Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion (9/26), Austin’s Austin City Limits Festival (9/27), Portland,
OR’s Theatre Of The Clouds (9/30), Seattle’s WaMu Theater at Qwest Fields Event
Center (10/1), San Francisco’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival (10/3), Kelseyville’s
Konocti Harbor (10/4) and Saratoga, CA’s The Mountain Winery (10/5).
Plant is still rumored to reunite with his Led Zeppelin
bandmates following this touring cycle with Krauss. John Paul Jones and Jimmy
Page both sat in with Foo Fighters for a few Led Zeppelin tunes at London's Wembley Stadium
on June 7.
