Richie Havens: Nobody Left to Crown

Woodstock icon Richie Havens will release his next studio album, Nobody Left to Crown, on July 29. The folk-rock visionary has been a mainstay on the live-music circuit since the 1960s and still clocks in more time on the road than musicians half his age. Since opening Woodstock, Havens has played everything from the Jammy Awards to Bill Clinton’s 1993 Presidential Inauguration and tackles a number of current social issues on Nobody Left to Crown. Havens’ Never Ending Tour continues this week with a stop at England’s Guilfest Surrey on July 5.
