Brooklyn folk-rockers Pete and J will hit the Northeast this November to promote their latest EP, Plenty Good Reasons. The duo has also been working with producer Malcolm Burn (John Mellencamp, Emmylou Harris) and Greg Calbi (Band of Horses, MGMT) on a full-length record that is slated for an early 2009 release.  After a busy fall touring with Rusted Root, the duo has won over fans with harmonies reminiscent of CSNY and captivating stage presence. Members of Pete and J’s touring band also sat in with Rusted Root each night for the group’s trademark jams.

As of press time, Pete and J is scheduled to headline shows in Providence, RI (11/14), New Haven, CT (11/15), North Hampton, MA (11/20), New York (11/21), Philadelphia (11/22) and Vienna, VA (11/23). Look for a profile on Pete and J in a future issue of Relix.
