Mike Doughty will gear up for the release of his new studio album, Golden Delicious, with a short solo tour. The outing will begin at Baltimore MD’s The 8 X 10 on January 24 and include stops in Virginia Beach, VA (1/25), Raleigh NC (1/26), Athens, GA (1/27), Jacksonville (1/29), Tallahassee (1/30), Tampa (1/31) and Orlando, FL (2/1). The last four dates on the former Soul Coughing frontman’s tour mark his first appearances in Florida in several years. The singer/songwriter is expected to offer a “storyteller-style” performance and preview a number of songs from his forthcoming disc. Golden Delicious will hit stores on February 19 via ATO Records.
