Philip Glass has once again assembled an impressive lineup
for his annual Tibet House benefit. The 17th annual event, which is held each winter
at Carnegie Hall, will feature Tibet House regulars Lou Reed, Ray Davies and
Patti Smith, as well as Blondie's Debbie Harry, Sigur Ros and Laurie Anderson.
Glass will perform and likely join a selection of the evening's talent onstage.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the local Tibetan Community of New York, and
New Jersey,
Farm Aid and the Karin Berg Fund for the Myositis Support Group. A handful of
artists will likely be added bill in the coming weeks.
