The story titled Lost Highway Investigating Ryan Adams Web Leaks was based on information contained in a news story that Relix has discovered was completely false (and no, it wasn’t The Onion).  The story reported that Lost Highway Records had announced that it would be investigating the unauthorized internet release of Adams’ studio recordings, a move consistent with Lost Highway’s past actions in dealing with internet piracy. The information turned out to be fake, however, and, as of now, neither Lost Highway nor Ryan Adams have such plans.
