Metric’s Emily Haines has confirmed a 19-date January tour in
support of her solo debut, Knives Don’t
Have You r Back. Similar to her CD release parties earlier this fall, Haines
will bring members of her studio backing band, The Soft Skeleton, on the
road. Haines will open her tour close to
home at Toronto’s
The Danforth Music Hall on January 4. From there Haines will make stops in Ottawa
(1/5), Montreal (1/6), Philadelphia (1/7), Boston (1/8), New York
(1/9), Washington,
DC (1/10), Detroit, MI (1/11), Chicago (1/12), Minneapolis, MN (1/13),
Winnipeg, MB (1/14), Saskatoon, SK (1/15), Calgary, AB (1/16),
Edmonton, AB (1/17), Vancouver (1/18), Portland, OR (1/19), Seattle (1/20), San Francisco
(1/22), and Los Angeles, CA (1/23).
