Last night, Pearl Jam opened a two-night run at New York’s Madison Square Garden. In addition to a three-piece choir, Pearl Jam invited latter-day Ramones bassist C.J. Ramone out for a take on his band’s “I Believe In Miracles.” Before the bassist took the stage, noted Ramones fanatic Eddie Vedder mentioned that despite being New York legends, the Ramones never had a chance to play Madison Square Garden. Pearl Jam also offered a number of other covers, including  Pete Townshend’s “Love Reign O'er Me,” Victoria Williams’ “Crazy Mary” and Bob Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower.” Pearl Jam will return to MSG this evening.
