As we reported earlier this summer, Patti Smith, who played the closing night at New York’s CBGB’s, will deliver the opening show at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg. The performance will take place on September 4 and has been sold out for some time now. However, an auction is currently underway not only to receive tickets but also to attend a meet and greet and receive a signed Patti Smith lithograph.

The auction is being facilitated by Icon Collectibles, which is working in concert with Sony BMG Music Entertainment to allow individuals to bid on unique events, including gear, backstage and workshops with music producers . The company explains it that “even takes requests from fans, allowing them to submit their own wish list of memorabilia and experiences that they would like to see on the site.” Bidding in the Patti Smith auction will continue through August 26.
